Meet Our Teachers

Sally Eppert

CEO, Director

Sally has a MM in Piano Teaching from Southern Methodist. She has 40 years experience teaching piano with students that have majored in music at IU, Eastman in Rochester NY, Brigham Young in Provo, UT & ISU in Terre Haute. She is founder/owner of Fishers Music & Arts Academy, LLC, (formerly Eppert Piano Studio.) Sally is curious by nature and loves to learn from and network with music teachers across the globe. You will find Sally listening to podcasts and watching webinars about the latest new ideas in teaching piano and running a studio, as well as, the most creative trends for the best teaching.

In her free time, Sally loves to cook with her husband, Dick, and travel a bit. She also enjoys decorating!

Rachel McClellan

Piano, Voice, Flute

Music has always been a part of Rachel’s life. Starting Suzuki piano at age 4, she has played and performed all her life, including for Mr. Suzuki himself. Rachel completed collegiate and graduate level piano, flute and music studies at Olivet Nazarene Univ, Wheaton Teachers College, Columbia Univ, NYC. In addition to piano, flute, voice and general music teaching, she has accompanied and directed various groups in communities and churches.Rachel has had students since the age of 16. Many of Rachel’s students have found a love for music; her studio has always included a variety of ages and abilities. It is exciting to hear each student develop their musical ability!

Rachel is married with five children who keep her busy – from dance to taekwondo to saxophone to technology to Purdue. It is fun to see them grow ! She also loves doing puzzles and enjoys great weather outside!

Brenna Green

Piano, Piano Jam Band

Brenna is a pianist and music teacher located in the greater Indianapolis area. She has her BA in Piano Performance from Anderson University and her MM in Piano teaching from Butler University. As a teacher, she is patient, enthusiastic and has a passion to bring a deep appreciation of music to the lives of others.  Brenna incorporates composition in her lessons and emphasizes rhythm, sight-reading, and piano duets from an early level. When she isn't teaching or playing piano, Brenna enjoys calligraphy, discovering new coffee shops, co-hosting the podcast Hidden Composers, and running a rescue center on her windowsill for cast-off houseplants.

Kameron Zebadiah Mechling

Administrator, Composition, Songwriting, Piano

Kameron is a composer and pianist based out of the greater Indianapolis area. He has his BA in Music from Anderson Univ and his MM in Composition from Butler. Throughout his University years he also studied piano. He is an understanding, compassionate, and helpful teacher and loves helping all ages reach towards their music potential. His work has been commissioned by local institutions and organizations, and he continues to seek opportunities to positively affect change in others through meaningful music.

Kameron’s passions remain in his service to God and others. Kameron is the music director at Zionsville Christian Church in Zionsville, IN., and also works with disabled clients through Hopewell Center Inc. in Anderson. Kameron’s passion for music and service to others shows in each lesson.

Charlie Eppert

Vice President of Operations

Charlie studied Business at IU’s Kelley School of Business and studied Percussion at IU’s Jacobs School of Music. Before that, he grew up surrounded by music, and even taking piano lessons with Sally for over 10 years, before he switched to percussion lessons. He is uniquely qualified to guide and help steer Fishers Music and Arts Academy to success. In his free time, Charlie likes to play video games, read, listen to podcasts, and occasionally solve puzzles.
